Welsh Style Cider from Indiana?
Having a party for St. David’s Day this year? Welsh it up a bit with this damn fine Welsh style cider from Madison, Indiana. The current owners grandfather Gale Thomas began making “cider” in his youth during prohibition in the 1930’s! It was made in barrels, from craggy old cider apples, sold and drunk quickly. This tradition has passed to the third generation of his family.
At $6.99 for a litre bottle the price isn’t bad either!
